So I am pretty sure this is normal but wanted to make sure. My C02 gauge is reading lower when in the fridge. I remember basic prinicples telling me that it will read lower at lower temps but wanted to make sure. It went from 500PSI to 850PSI after it came back to room temp.

Gases expand with heat, so removing the tank from a ~40* atmosphere and bringing it up to 70* will certainly cause a rise in pressure, and vice versa.

Thats funny, I am carbonating for the 1st time today and panicked that iIhad a serious leak in my system as my gauge went from just under 800 to around 650 at 50* in my wine cellar and then I remembered about an earlier post I read.
