Better than Heady Imo. Next up at Kuhnhenn is Aldeberan Belgian DIPA.

Kuhnhenn Loonie Kuhnie Pale Ale nice and balanced and a little Belgian tartness. Total fail on the pic but its almost gone.

I asked the bartender to set 2 bottles of Duvil in Ms Jones aside for me (Bgs sour tribute to Duvel $7 each) and came back from the restroom and this was sitting on the bar. My fiancee ordered me a case Vintage 2011

Hey fin, I'm still on the fence about Black IPA. Out of all commercial examples I thought Wookey Jack was the best, but I'm still undecided. Is your recipe good? I'd like to brew one myself, and if I don't like it, then I know I can just write off the whole style.

the base recipe is pretty good I think, but if I did it again I wouldnt use all simcoe. I can PM you the recipe tonight when I get home.

Having some beers at the Ithaca beer wild ale release. Got to wander around inside the brewery already which was awesome. They just finished bottling/packing some pallets of Flower Power and it smells delicious.

just stepped outside to tuck this case away.
