Well I am a newbie I guess I have done a few kits with the coopers home brew kit Australian larger an a draught all tasted great.
Well the wife wanted a ginger beer done so off I went down to my supplier and picked up a coopers ginger beer kit soooo simple to do been in fermenter now for 24 hours no action yet ( I don't no if I should be worried) . Just wondering has anyone else tried this coopers ginger beer or if they have another recipe ??

I did one but it was all grain. I used fresh ginger. What I found is you need a crap ton more ginger than you think. I used it in the boil with some orange zest. After fermentation was done, I did my best to sanitize a bunch of sliced ginger and dumped it in the primary for two more weeks. The result was very good, but definitely benefited from the dry-gingering.
