HEY brewers,I need some info about using Irish Moss for clearing beer.I just recently heard about it and would like some advice.How much ,and when do I use it?I brew 5GA. all grain batches.

I use about a teaspoon per 5 gallon batch. actually what i do is just fill up the little cap it comes with. if you add too much it will not hurt anything. too little and your beer wont clear.

Edit: yeah, i add mine in the last 15 min of the boil.
 
You'll get better results with Irish Moss if you rehydrate it before tossing it in. I usually put a little water in a coffee cup with the Irish Moss before I start the boil and then toss it in at 15 minutes before the end.

Better yet get the Whirfloc tablets and just toss those in in the last 5 minutes. They work much better and you don't have to worry about measuring.
