Hi,

Im just starting out with wine, I put my first batch on today (a kit wine) but I want to make wine from my own ingredients ie banana wine, rhubarb wine etc

Can anyone recommend a good beginners recipe book and any good easy to follow wine making books for beginners

Much appreciated

Pam

I bought a fruit wine complete kit from Midwest Brewers, it came with a book of around 100 recipies.

I would imagine many kits have a book with them.

I've never found any "good" winemaking books. They all seem to be lacking, or to be dated.

I highly recommend Jack Keller's website, for learning about winemaking and for hundreds of recipes.

winemaking: The Basic Steps is a good place to start. The site is hard to navigate, but it's worth it! He has recipes for literally everything you can imagine, and all of them are tested and proven.
