Extremely late last night I came across a post where a guy had a picture of a fliptop bottle or growler he had converted to a mini-keg with a little co2 cartridge attached.. Today I cant find it, I only remember he had a picture of a plane as his avatar. IT seemed interesting and might be a very viable alternative over my 3gal corny supply problem

Anyone know what Im talking about

No it was a picture of a big swingtop bottle someone had put a top on and of to the side was a co2 cartridge, all I remember was that the guy that posted it had a red and white airplane in his picture

It looked almost exactly like the second one you posted but instead of a little squeeze pump it looked like someone had just put a CO2 cartridge on there

The picture you're looking for is in Dude's gallery.

I'll post a pic soon.

Lol exactly!! your the person I was talking about also so any ideas how that works? is it worth the investment (how much is the investment any ideas?)

Looks kinda risky to me. Those little Co2 chargers are unregulated, so a few too many trigger pulls could easily turn your growler into glass shrapnel. Wear some safety glasses while imbibing!

I'd rather have the squeeze bulb version...honestly, is there enough beer in a growler that you're not going to serve it all in one evening? Going a step further, I'd rather just pour from the growler!! :D

It's not my growler or picture, unfortunately. That belong's to Dude and I believe it is the same as the tinyurl in Fermenator's post, albeit modified by Dude with a piece of hose and clamps to accept the Co2 charger.

I agree with BlindLemonLars, if you have successfully transferred some pre-carbonated beer to the growler, then the bulb should work sufficiently. The growler only contains 2L of beer and that shouldn't take too long to finnish off. :D
