Thanks to being a wheat beer, and using a good starter, I had my first brew use my blowoff tube. It churned up pretty good through the tube for the first 24 hours of fermentation. We're now past 48 hours and there is nothing coming up through the tube anymore. Safe to assume I can switch to the normal airlock now?

Sure, but there's really no rush. I usually leave the blow-off tube in place until I'm mixing up sanitizer solution for some other task.
