Hi, I'm gettin ready to brew after too many years off, so I'll probably
have a bunch of questions ,to brush up.
Do you guys rack the beer off the trub just after pitching yeast,
or do you just wait until you put it in secondary, after fermentation?
Thanks, RK

Trub is what forms during the ferment. It's a mixture of yeast, protein and hop particles.
Pitch the yeast, wait until the bubbling stops and FG is stable, then rack to secondary.

I'd recommend reading the first chapter of Palmer's book to refresh your memory.
