I found this upright freezer on craigslist. MINI FREEZER (KENMORE)

What do you think about its use as a kegerator? It is 29 inches high internally which a Cornelius is 25 inches and should hold 2 of them with the gas too.

I would have to buy a thermoeter controller which would add about $60 more to the cost, plus all the plumbing work that would need to be done.

is it worth it?

Are the shelves removable? They look like they might be the type that have coolant lines in them.

Good call, you are right. They are stuck in there. That kinda blows this idea up.

I'll keep looking.

I used a mini upright freezer to cool my cold box when I built my bar.

Just make a hole in your insulated box that matches the freezers opening. That way you can hold a few more kegs than just putting the kegs in the freezer.
