In an attempt to make my first cider I used Pasturized Apple Juice, some brown sugar, honey and Muntons Yeast..... any thoughts on the Pasturized Juice? Will it work?

Thanks

Shamu

Once again...Man Yooper has tact!!!

I don't. It is pasteurized, nothing to do with where cows graze.;)

I hope to do this soon too!(cider)

I made a starter with pure juice, then when the colony was going good and strong, added that to 3 gallons of cider which had sorbate in it. After a day, the whole thing was bubbling along nicely.
