I bottled a batch of beer for my daughters wedding and we purchased some designer caps. As I was bottling last night I noticed that most of the caps seem to be lopsided, leaning more to one side than even around the top. There is no leaking beer, but I am wondering if this will cause the beer to not prime and be flat.

Any experience out there?

Thanks,

Sheldon

I would take one bottle, turn it upside down and see if there seems to be a leak. If not, I wouldnt worry about it. If so, recapping them asap would be my next step.

nofootbreak - I turned them last nite after bottling and there was no leak. I would think that they would be ok, but I wanted all you folks out in brewland who may have dealt with this situation to chime in. I guess we will know in about 6 weeks at the wedding.

thanks,

Sheldon
