Thought you first timers might like to see this. I have no green thumbs at all and I pulled this off. Planted around this time last year and cut down to the ground before winter.

I'm jealous! Still cold and rainy. My tallest is the Mt. Hood and it's only 4" or so. I have a small forest of Cascades shoots, though.

My tallest is also my mt. hood but it just BARELY made it out of the ground. planted it 2 weeks ago and replanted it about 4 days ago. It is about 1/16th of an inch or less out of the dirt lol
 
Little update, weather has been on and off and it still growing well

I trimmed back most of the smaller shoots and started to train it
