Vacation in Waterford, CT and Brew

I am taking a weekend getaway in Waterford, CT this weekend with my son and was looking for a good brewpub and or a local homebrew supply shop. Any suggestions???? A good brewpub would be great... My son is a minor so I don't want to take him to a bar. Good food and a few microbrews / homebrews would be perfect.

Bru Room in New Haven is very good, amazing pizza too, about 40 min. from Waterford and well worth the drive. And if you want to meet the authors of Clonebrews and Beer Captured check out this place http://www.maltose.com/, where I get most of my supplies
City Steam in Hartford is also pretty good, about an hour and change from waterford.
Cottrell is the closest to waterford, about 20 minutes, I've had their beer in bottles but never from the brewery, not bad but not great either...
If you want to venture on the back roads(395N to rte 32N, about an hour) try this place http://www.willibrew.com/ great beer, great food, beautiful architechture(it's in a turn of the century post office) and it's near Zok's http://www.homemadebrew.net/ I haven't been to Zok's, but my friends that live in the area swear by the place...

Both HBS are closed sunday.

I may just check one out one of your suggestions this weekend. I actualy get to the area every two months on business, but never have time to get out and enjoy the area. One of the locations I visit frequently is C.N. Wood Company that was in Milford and recently moved to North Haven. I am a Regional Service Manager for Federal Signal, Environmental Solutions Group. Or Vactor Mfg. and Elgin Sweeper. I also have family in Groton and RI. This trip is a family visit and most important, time with my son.....
