Yeast for a smaller batch

I have a couple friends who want me to brew a batch of gluten free beer but they only want a 2 1/2 gallon batch made. I was going to use dry yeast. Do I just use the entire yeast pack or is there a problem doing that? I would make a 5 gal batch but I don't want any for me.
 
Thanks for the quick answer. Is using a 6 gal fermenter ok to use with a 2 1/2 gal batch?
