My rubber stopper was pushed a bit too far into my carboy and I can't get it out. Any bright ideas?

I used a fork prong in the hole where the airlock usually goes... if it's a solid stopper, tnt.

Try getting a coat hanger and slightly bend it about 2 inches at a 90 degree angle. On the very end of the "bend" get plyers and make it like a hook. Put down the center of the stopper and try to pull it out.

or +1 on the fork idea

Thanks everyone! I was able to pry it out with 2 large flathead screwdrivers. What a pain.
