Is a 1500 kW heatstick enough to bring 3-4 gallons to a boil by itself?

I've searched and can't find much info regarding this. I am being banished from the kitchen and am researching possible heating options outside. I like the idea of a heatstick. Later if I get to full boils or AG I could use it to help heat my HLT or mash.

I do partial boils for extract brewing am not interesting in increasing the size at this point.

1500KW is quite the heat stick! :D

Theoretically, heating four gallons of water from 140F to 212F using 1.5KW will take 28 minutes. It will actually take a little longer because of heat losses, but it will boil. The time it takes is proportional to the temperature difference (212 - 140 = 72), if you want a different starting temperature.
