Leaking and weeping barrel fixes

Since barrels from 5 gallons up to 59 gallons are becoming more common in the home brew world I wanted to post this in hopes it will help. Some different options available if you run into this problem.

ETA: just saw the second comment on that page. That book that is linked to seems to cover everything you could want to know. Thanks for posting the article so that we could have someone post a helpful link.
