I have a couple batches of apfelwein in the process....how much priming sugar should I use to bottle? the same as beer? thanks
i used white labs cider yeast if it makes a difference....
 
ok cool.....I was also wondering if my cider is completely clear and there is no sediment whatsoever in the bottom of my secondary, is there enough yeast still in solution to carbonate in the bottle? I had it in primary for about 2 weeks then transferred it to secondary? It has been in the secondary for about 3 weeks now.
 
If your bottles can hold it, you can really go quite high. Cider doesn't take on a head like beer so you can have very high carbonation levels like in Champagne.

You have plenty of Yeast.
 
batch now bottled!!!! It smelled so good because I added a couple cinnamon sticks in the secondary a couple weeks ago. Now I just have to wait a couple more to actually drink it. :rockin:
