Carbonation

I saw a Soda Maker Demonstration at a store the other day, and I was curious if anyone ever tried to force carbonate a small batch of their brew using one of these?

Here's last weeks. Can you carb beer bottles with a Sodastream?

I'm not sure how well that would work. I know someone that has one, I'll ask if I can borrow it next weekend when I keg. I'll pull off a bottle and see what happens.

I have one of those. It's designed for carbonating water, and there's really no way to clean up inside the nozzle. The other issue is that it's designed for the bottle to thread up inside the machine so not really designed for other bottles. Now all that said, all the machine does is expel carbon dioxide from a cartridge so technically it's possible.

I also guess you would have to do it before adding priming sugar

I use one of these sometimes to carbonate homemade soda, usually for egg creams. Never tried it for beer, but never really had a cause to.
