pics of mlt setup for rims/direct fire for build ideas

I'm building a single teir 3 pot A/G rig, i'v finished the stand and now have to move on to out fitting the pots correctly. i'm using 60qt?15 gallon aluminum pots 16" diameter at the base and the mlt might get some insulation and wood cladding for form and function but i want to be able to go direct fire without worrying about scorching the mash.


I'm thinking of making a false bottom screen that covers the bottom to a depth of above my bulkhead drain but want to avoid thin mashes


any input would be awsome and pics would really nail home what works for fellow brewers.
