Yup...DIY.

The surfboard is made out of a 1x8 piece of pine that I cut out and used a rasp to get the lines. The Red Wings one I made out of a stair spindle from HD and another piece of 1x8.

You can get really creative....or there are people on here that make more professional ones that they will sell you. Mine cost me about $4 and a couple hours of fun.

Another popular choice seems to be gear shift knobs. If you search for DIY tap handles there is a thread that MASSIVE that covers it...

I got a piece of moose antler and drilled it out for an insert. Friend-pleaser.

I needed custom tap handles and every company charges an arm and a leg!
I didnt want to make them out of wood chair legs or staircase railing supports. or anything else janky... I wanted professional looking tap handles. Plus I needed to have 20 so my time was an issue.

I found the best company!!! THESE GUYS ROCK! Super nice dudes, Great prices and they can do anything!!!
