This was a recipe of your I used for for a 5 gallon (I know it was for a 5.5):

2 lbs Wheat Malt
2 lbs Pilsner Malt
0.75 lbs Torrified or Raw Wheat
0.25 lbs Aromatic Malt
3 lbs Wheat DME
Tettnang hops (60 min)
WLP300

This was good, but a little strong. I wanted to try it again, but lighten it up a bit.
1) Can I get rid of a pound of the Pilsner? Ad more DME?
2) Can I substitute the Tettnag for Hallertauer?

Thanks again for the recipe.. good stuff.

or if anyone else has an opinion about how to make this a little bit lighter, Id appreciate it.

Heading to the HBS tomorrow and looking for a good Franziskaner-ish weissen recipe.

I guess a little bitter.. not exactly due to hops. Might have been a little green when I tried it though.
