I am building a brew sculpture similar to Brewiz's as shown below. I have access to 1 1/4" X 1/8" angle iron. Would this be too light of material for a brewsculpture such as this?

It's absolutely not too light.
It would be fine, but I would try to make all the vertical members go all the way to the ground instead of having them cantilever like they are in the picture. Otherwise it should be fine.
