I brew every Sunday. This is this weeks recipe. Tell me what you think pros?

6.6# Briess Pilsen LME
1# Clover Honey
6oz Carapils
4oz Carafoam

1oz Vanguard 4.6% (60min)

1tsp Irish Moss (15min)

Safale us-05

4oz Strawberry Beer Flavoring (in keg)

Steep grains in 2qt water @ 155 for 30 min. Sparge with 2qt, 170 degree water. Bring volume up to 3 gal, add LME, Hops, and boil for 60 min. Last 15 min add irish moss and honey to pasteurize. Cool below 80, bring volume to 5 gal, pitch. 7 day primary, 14 day secondary, then in the keg with 4oz stawberry beer flavoring. Carb and enjoy.

I made a Strawberry Blonde from extract using 2oz of Strawberry Beer flavoring. When I first kegged it, it had a strong smell and taste of Pina Colada. A week later it has subsided quite a bit but isn't where I'd like it to be and still has that Pina Colada/Coconut smell and taste to it. I'm hoping it will change to Strawberry, time will tell
