I usually spend about an hour a day reading the news on the net. My first three stories I read today pissed me off so I gave up.....Let me know what you think.

1. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26124593/?GT1=43001
I get not serving it in the cafeteria, but banning it all together is stupid.......

2. http://movies.msn.com/movies/article.aspx/?news=326587&GT1=28101
It's a damn movie, personally I am offended by all Matthew McConaughey movies, so I just don't watch them. I don't demand sensitivity.

3. http://www.newsweek.com/id/151740?GT1=43001
The previous other two stories may be up for debate, but whoever wrote this story should be shot on the spot or locked in a room with a rabid beaver.

1. I like PB&J the fully thing is only my 5 year old will eat it and she doesn't very often. Such an easy and affordable lunch for your kids! It does suck it was banned, I guess they think other kids will use it as a weapon! :cross:

2. I had no interest in this movie until this morning. After watching some interviews and more clips it seems like a fun distraction. Some people are just overly sensitive, there are much worse things going on in the world then Tropic Thunder so I'm not going to cry over it. (And I did infact have a mentally handicapped uncle I was very close to growing up.)

3. lol

Read a newspaper please (it helps me keep my job).

1. The whole peanut butter allergy is one of life's great mysteries. Where was this when I was a kid? I did, and still do, eat the stuff by the pound. So do my kids. Banning it, I agree, is stupid. There's only so much watchdogging schools can or should do.

2. When people get annoyed by movies, I chuckle. It's a movie. Don't watch it. Every group of people could get offended by something on a daily basis. Can we please all get a thicker skin? Relax everybody.

3. Sick as it is, that story will be read by more people than probably anything else in Newsweek. It's the culture we live in. For some reason, people are highly interested in celebrities, yet 80 percent of them, when asked their thoughts on Russia and Georgia would say, "Why do the Russians want to live in Atlanta?'

1. I know several people with food related allergies and they managed to make it through childhood by not eating those foods; I'm not sure why today's children cannot do the same thing.

2. Everyone is offended by something these days, not sure what happened to thick skin, perhaps the peanut butter stole it.

3. As already evidenced in stories 1 and 2, people are dumb.
