I am getting set to build my keezer and run a 15' trunk line to the tap on my bar and need some help for setting up a cheap glycol loop.

The trunk line has 2 x 5/16" poly lines for the glycol and I will put a U at the end of the line in the tower.

I have read that people put a reserve pool (bucket) in their freezer with a pond pump and hook the pump to the out line and then have the end of the loop drop back into the pool...does anyone have a setup like this that can recommend a pump/size pump and how big a reserve pool i need???

Any help or picks of setups would be GREATLY appreciated!

Sounds like a cool project. Unfortunately, I can't offer any advice. There are, however, several threads on very similar projects. Try doing a search.

Good luck with the project!
