I have 3.5 gallons of organic unfiltered apple pear juice. It's mosly apple juice. I'm wondering if I need to add any sugar or additives due to the pear juice. I've done a fair amout of straight apple cider before but I can't find a recipe for this kind anywhere. Any help would be nice.

You can use a hydrometer to check the SG of the juice, and add sugar if you'd like to boost the ABV. It's just like cider- you can decide on the ABV and whether to add any sugar or not.
