Heading up to San Fran tomorrow

Can not recall the name of the Hotel I will be at, but it is right down by the Pier/Fishermans Wharf. I know there is Anchor Steam in the Area, but they apparently do tours by Reservation, and only on week days. So I was wondering if there were any other breweries in Town I should drop in and check out while I am up there this weekend.

Toronado Pub, San Francisco Toronado is down in the Haight. Take a cab there because you'll need one to get back :mug:

You can also look here: http://beermapping.com/maps/citymaps.php?m=sanfran but if the SF map is as bad as the DC map I wouldn't bother.

I have a gordon Biersh right down the street from me in Tempe, AZ. Never really was a fan of their products. I much prefer Four Peaks brewery which is just off the other side of campus.

Toronado is a must visit.
It will be a very beneficial experience. Trust me. :mug:

Pyramid has a taphouse/brewery in Berkeley... easy to get to if you have a rental car.
While in Berkeley, swing by the Sho Chiku Bai Sake brewery -- nice tasting room with very generous samples.

Speakeasy is open on friday nights tell 7 or 8. Speakeasy Ales & Lagers, San Francisco

Otherwise just go to Toronado. It's the best you can do.

If you hit the Toronado, I highly recommend the lamb sausage sold next door. They grill it while you have another pint at the T.

Not sure if I will have time to hit berkley, but I maybe posting in the ramblings thread tonight while I visit the Tornado. Thank you peeps for the recommends!
