IPA Extract first try mod

Hey Guys:
I am new to brewing thinking about doing this. I had the cascade on hand. Am I headed in the right direction?


1.00 kg Light Dry Extract (15.8 EBC) Dry Extract 1 27.0 %
1.70 kg Coopers (TCS) India Pale Ale (27.5 EBC) Extract 2 45.9 %
1.00 kg Corn Sugar (Dextrose) (0.0 EBC) Sugar 3 27.0 %
22.00 g Cascade [5.50 %] - Boil 30.0 min Hop 4 7.5 IBUs
28.30 g Cascade [5.50 %] - Boil 2.0 min Hop 5 1.1 IBUs

That is a ton of sugar, I'd swap it for more light extract.
