I plan to do a brew of a Orange Pale Ale that I saw here the other day and my local brew shop has everything except sweet orange peel. My local grocery store has regular orange peel, but not sweet. I really hate to place a mail order and pay $6 shipping for one stinkin' spice. Will regular orange peel be a good substitute or should I suck it up and pay the extra cost and order the sweet? Thanks.

Just zest the outside of 3-4 medium size oranges. I have used a cheese grater (the really small holes, not the ones you use for cheese) in the past with success. Just don't go to far into the orange, when you start to see the white part of the peel, stop.
