I'm working on a building a RIMS system, and was wondering what type of copper pipe is best to use. Rigid or Flexible?

Well, hard drawn tubing is exactly that, hard. Great for straight runs. To change direction with it you must use fittings. Soft drawn can be bent into coils. A tubing bender can give you accurate bends. Both are easily soldered and can be used together to create your system.

Also, if you wish to do any cutting on the tubing the soft is less thick and much easier to cut through.
