Star San question

I have read that you should keep contact with rubber and Star San to a minimum.

So my question is, has anyone experienced any ill effects using Star San to sanitize the seals on Grolsch flip tops???

I soak my caps in Star San while washing bottles (so less than two hours total). Never had any problem with the rubber or neoprene seals. But I don't think you want to soak them for much longer than that.

I have had rubber gaskets from the lids of kegs in star-san for about a month with no affect on them noticable.

Star san will cloud up some plastics but won't do any damage.
