I plan to try recirculating using a grain bag and using some form of support under the bag.My heating is via electric 4500 watt element.
my question is if I was to use a false bottom (2 mm holes 30% open perforated plate) as the support with legs to hold it above the element would this be too constricting on the flow?
I cannot get turkey pot baskets here so need to find some kind of rack or support for the bag .my pot is 18" diameter, any ideas if the false bottom is not a good idea
thanks Paul

Paul,

You should be able to find something like that locally. It's just a steaming rack for a kettle.

Here, they sell in Sears (Department Store), or any kitchen goods store.
