Northern brewer messed up and instead of sending my IPA grains the sent Rahr premium pilsner and briess caramel. To their credit they caught the error and are sending me the correct grains. My question is can I make a good beer with the mistake grains, or must I add others to make a complete beer. Will it have to be a lager, I've not done a lager yet.

Thanks,

And what lovibond of caramel: 60L, 40L, 120L? You can make an ale with Pilsen malt, it's just very light and crisp.

Make a Tripel!

12 pounds pilsner
1.5 pound table sugar
30 IBU from 60min Nobel Hop boil
.5 oz Saaz near flameout

Ferment with a spicy Belgian Ale liquid yeast (WLP 550 or equiv)

I wish they would screw up my orders if that's what happens! :(
