I just tried the first bottle and it was awesome. I didn't taste any sourness at all and the apricot flavor was apparent, but subtle. It smelled more like apricot than tasted like it, which is just fine by me. Also, it came out very clear, pics attached. Just wanted to let y'all know it was another successful brew. Two down, many many more to go.

I always prefer the hint of the aroma, once I taste the fruit in the beer it's just not right.
Congratulations, that looks like a tasty beer.
May I ask you to put a link into the recipe or post it?

That;'s excellent news!

I like the pics, btw. Beer people enjoying their beer,

Looks good!
Out of curiosity, what was it that made you think you had an infection?

The picture in the first post of this thread. After some research and some help from the forum members, we came to conclusion that it was acetobacter. Looks like I got it in the bottle before it did any appreciable damage, because, as carnevoodoo said, it's an aerobic bacteria, and wasn't able continue on its destructive path without the oxygen.
