3 pole switch for march pump

Just discovered I purchased a 3 pole switch for my march pump. Can't return it since I opened the package.

Can I use the switch for the pump or do I have to buy a single pole switch?

you should be able to use it and just hook up what you need.

I just read that 3 pole switches have to be used in pairs. I went and bought 2 single pole switches for $0.69 a piece.
