It looks like it would be tasty :) I tried my first Baltic Porter just last night and loved it. It was the Victory Baltic Thunder... Nice stuff!

Yeah, I that's good stuff. Okocim, Sinnebrychoff, and Duck Rabbit Baltic are some of my fav all time beers, so I'm hoping I can make something that I like.

Here's one from Chumley on hbd.org that was said to be a ringer for Okocim

12 lbs. 2-row
2.5 lbs. munich
1 lb. Dingemann caramunich
1 lb. Weyerman carafa special II
0.5 lbs. Dingemann aromatic
0.5 lbs. Dingemann Special B

1 oz. Marynka 6.2% 60 min
2 oz. Lublin 4.2% 30 min

half stick licorice last 10 min of the boil

S-189 yeast

OG 1.082

Awesome, thank you! I was actually looking for an Okocim clone and couldn't find one. Unfortunately I don't have the equipment necessary for lagering right now, so I'm gonna have to use an ale yeast regardless of what recipe I end up using. Any suggestions on one that might work well?

If you have a container big enough to fit the bucket with room to put water around it, then add frozen water bottles to keep it cold. If I can ferment and lager here in S. Florida with out a fridge anyone can

Most Baltic Porters use Munich or Vienna for a Base Grain..... As Far as Yeast you could use the White Labs San Fran Lager Yeast which is acceptable to style too.

Any thoughts on turning this into an Imp Porter instead of a Baltic and using Wyeast scottish ale?
