You're supposed to wear it around your waist, not your neck.

I could't imagine wearing one of my kilts while brewing, considering the cost. I only wear them when playing the pipes.

I have a lone Utilikilt. Love it, been told I look great in it. I'd like to get another or a similar "Utility style kilt" from another manufacturer. I don't think my 1/8 Scottish ancestry is enough to justify tartan.
I looked for a photo of me in it, somehow not one to be found. I'm also not that photogenic to begin with. What about all this I've heard about "Not having pictures of yourself online, or any information to protect identity?" Oh right, that went out of style with Netscape Navigator in 1995.
There was a list somewhere of manufacturers that were all part of some sort of agreement. Sort of a "These other vendors are cool and offer quality products" shout out. I can't seem to find it.

Sorry to do this to you guys, buy this is for @SharonaZamboni Hope you like, and this is not in the wrong thread.
What about brewing an IPA wearing a lunghi that I acquired from my recent trip to India?
I started wearing a kilt at festivals about 10 years ago. But once I discovered the level of freedom and comfort a kilt provides I never limited myself to only wearing a kilt at festivals. Though I seldom attend festivals any more I own several Utilikilts and wear them frequently.
One little know benefit of the Utilikilt is "traffic control". People are bad about speeding on the road that I live on, despite the flashing School Zone sign. But I have found that when I am wearing a kilt while working in the front yard traffic seems to slow down to a more reasonable speed.
Even my dog Bruno was curious about what's under the kilt other than boots.
