Cheap Digital Temp Meter with Thermocouple???

Hey Guys,

I was wondering if any of you have experience with affordable digital temp meters (panel mount) with external thermocouples?

I want to monitor the temps at the input/output of my HERMS HX, and various other locations in the process without the need/expense of switching (PID).

I've seen some stuff on ebay, but would prefer to get something that has been tried and tested.
