I have a wheat ale that is done fermenting in the primary and I'm thinking about splitting it up and adding some different fruits to it. I'm not a big fan of fruity beers so I just want to do a couple of gallons total. I'm thinking that since the actual fermentation is over then I might be safe racking into growlers to do the secondary with the fruit, would I need bungs and bubblers or can I cap them? I obviously don't want them exploding on me...

Adding fruit will start another fermentation, so sealing the growler would be a very bad idea.
