Tasting Notes
Have not had it finnished but was good on transfer
I have this beer in secondary but it is very interesting. Can't wait for it to be finnished.

8lb - 2 Row
.5lb - Crystal 60
.5lb - Crystal 90
2.5lb - Munich

2oz Horizon 60min
2 oz Challenger 15min
1oz Willamette 15min
2oz Mount Hood 5 min
2oz Cascade 0min

I held out 2lb of the 2 Row and smoked it for 20min on a Big Green Egg with Apple wood. It has just enough smoke to let u know that it is there but isn't over powering.
This is my first recipe post

In fermenter
Apple wood smoked IPA
Belgium Wit
20gla Black Imperial IPA

In secondary
Peach wine
Cherry Peach wine
Strawberry wine

In keg; Dark Saison, Vanilla Coffee Milk Stout, German Rye, APA, Robust Porter

Did you finish this beer out yet?? Id like to know how the finish was... I just got a smoker for x-mas and im pumped to smoke some grains...

Ive heard that pure Alder wood is the best to smoke with?

Yep want in to keg a week ago and it is great. Just the right amount of smoke an the citra hops come in nice mid way though. I had a friends alder wood smoked beers and it was very light smoke flavor and it came through in the last bit didn't hang around to much. But have fun and give smoking the grain a try
