My wife spotted a pretty good deal on one of those mini-keg kegerators that works on both AC & DC. Found mini-kegs for cheap as well. The more I read about them, it doesn't sound like a super system for carbonating (sounds hit or miss) but it appears on the surface to be a perfect fit for my tailgaters. I currently bring a 5 gal corny, 5lb CO2 and a jockey box with me to tailgaters. So as I was thinking about it and kicking around ideas, would it be feasible to force-carb/condition in a corny and then use my Beer Gun to transfer to a mini-keg and serve? Anyone have experience doing this? What could the possible downsides be?
