The latter looks very similar to the set I use between gear motor and BC mill, but at around half the price I paid to Surplus Center.

There are set screws in these in addition to keyways. I put a drop of blue Loktite on the screws and I set them on the flats on the shafts at each end. Works fine...

sweet, i couldn't tell if the lovejoy had a set screw or not, for my stuff i need the set screw. thanks for the surplus center link, i appreciate it, brew on!
 
When you buy your lovejoy, you will buy three pieces. One coupler sized for the motor shaft, one sized for the mill shaft and a "spider" to couple them. And yes, they will have set screws.
 
Look on ebay for the lovejoy i just ordered one a few days ago all 3 pieces where $14 shipped.
