Hey Guys,
I woke up this morning to a nice surprise. My airlock was full of yeast! I know this is a good thing, and I attached the airlock. Due to my inexperience however, I only placed the other half into a pot, without water. I think I can put the airlock in again, as things have calmed down a bit, but the fermentation is still active.
My question is how worried should I be about contamination since the other end of the blowoff tube was not in water?
