I'm looking to make an oatmeal stout for my next brew. I'm looking for a recipe that someone has tried and knows works. I'm an extract brewer, so all grain recipe's can be shared if they're good, but won't help me. TIA.

6 lbs. dark malt extract
1 lb. oatmeal
1 lb. Six-row pale malt
1/2 lb. Roast unmalted barley
1/4 lb. Black Patent Malt
1/2 lb. medium crystal malt
1 oz. Target or Northdown hops (bittering)
1/2 oz. Willamettes hops (flavoring)
1/2 oz. Willamettes hops (finishing)
Safale yeast S 04.
I have brewed this several times its not my own but its yummy

Do you know the AAU's on the hops? Or is this kinda trivial? Everytime I'm in my HBS, they ask me what AAU I need. I never know, because every recipe I've tried makes no mention of it. Having only used hops twice now, it's not that much I guess, but kinda good to know for future maybe.

Try the one on my sig. It's pretty good and easy.
