In an effort to keep SWMBO happy.

...........with my brewing, I need to brew up a batch just for her.

One of her favorites is Negro modello. I know I know I don't want to take to much heat for this. But SHE likes it and this is what its all about. So I'd like to get a clone if anyone has one for a 5 gallon AG batch. Or I'm open to suggestions on similar Mexican style brews like Dos Equis. She also likes their amber. .....I know...I know


For me it's nice as I've never done a lager before but have a spare fridge I've converted for temp control. So should be nice to try brewing a lager for the first time and a beer that SWMBO will actually ask for another.

You can also also try a Schwartzbier and ferment with a neutral ale yeast. I did a half&half, lager/Nottingham. and there was very little difference.
