Perfect brewing experience and hour all my numbers. Put it into my fridge and set temps to 62. The range is, I believe, 58-65ish. Last night I had another equipment failure and it heated to 78.2 degrees!! I assume the 5gal was in there for 8 hours so not sure how warm it got before I switched on the fridge. Hopeless?

Not hopeless, but not good.

Which yeast strain did you use? Did you use a starter? Is it fermenting?

I didn't use a starter this time--first time, ugh. I used the Wyeast 2112 California Lager with a (I just looked it up) temperature range of 58-68° F.
