Hi guys,

I've done two batches of brewing thus far and my next one is an IPA. I currently have a Coopers kit and recently got (as a gift) a Coopers IPA can. I looked through the recipe database but couldn't find anything that I'm looking for.

From my previous two brewing experiments I know I want to go all malt on this one. Coopers recommend 500g DME and 300g Dextrose. What would be a good amount of DME (or LME) to add to this brew?

Also, I've found the aroma and flavor to be lacking in my brews thus far but bitterness seems to be ok. I'm looking to buy some hops for this brew just to add aroma/flavor and I'll likely use a bag for them too. Can someone recommend a basic hop type and amount that I should add for this?

Many thanks!

Neil
