broken hydrometer?

I think I may have a faulty hydrometer.

My last three brews have all measured the same gravity pre-boil and post boil. I have taken temperature into consideration and adjusted to get a "true" reading each time. Either my hydrometer is bunk, or the laws of physics don't apply in my garage. Theres no way I'm boiling off 1.5 to 2 gallons of water and not seeing an increase in SG!!

Anyone else ever encounter this?
 
have you tried chilling your samples down to ~60*F rather than just using conversion tables?

From what I've read, the conversion tables above 120*F are pretty inaccurate.
