Heyo,

Very pleased with how the lite Graff turned out (I brewed with about an 8-to-1 cider-to-wort ratio instead of the 4-or-5-to-1 suggested in the recipe, mostly because of faulty math-on-the-fly). I still have a carboy full of straight cider lurking in the basement, and was wondering if anyone had tried brewing up a batch of graff wort and blending it with straight cider after the fact to make a Graff, instead of fermenting the wort and juice together.

The one concern I can think of is that most of the yeast has dropped out of the cider, and there might not be enough yeast per volume to bottle-carb with if all the yeast is to come from the beer side of the equation.

Anyone have experience or theoretical observations to make?
